RESURFACE
Laser skin resurfacing (or laser peel) is a popular cosmetic procedure that can help rejuvenate the skin and reduce the effects of the sun, aging, and acne scarring. This type of resurfacing basically burns off the top few layers of skin. The injury to the skin is causes the skin to be very raw and peels in about a week (similar to a moderate sun burn). The skin then begins to heal the injury and the period of healing can last from a week to ten days. New skin then begins to form in the place of the removed, aged skin.There are several types of laser including CO2 Laser, Erbium Laser, and Fractionated Lasers like Fraxel®.
